The handheld, mobile Strip-Reader enables the reading of data stored in the Strip. Placed on the Strip, it converts the printed data in seconds to its original form. Speech and music are played directly over a speaker or attached headphones, while pictures or text are downloaded to a connected PC. The Strip-Reader can be ordered in a handheld, audio-only configuration, as a handheld unit with Strip-Capture PC connection software and cable for both audio and non-audio output, or integrated within a DATASOUND Display Terminal for in-store promotions.
